WOOD COUNTY DAIRY PROJECT CALF/YEARLING LOAN PROGRAM

The Wood County Dairy Project has a calf/yearling program that provides youth with an opportunity to obtain funds to purchase a registered dairy animal to help develop their herd.

This program is open to any youth in grades 4-13 who is either a 4-H, FFA or dairy group member in Wood County.

The goals of the program are to continue to develop an interest in the dairy industry in Wood County, teach youth the responsibilities of finance, money management and record-keeping and to develop personal growth and knowledge regarding the dairy program.

Full details on the program, including application materials, can be found here.
